My name is Kristopher Grace and I am a nineteen-year-old student finishing up their first year of community college. I am not a business or marketing major but I enrolled in this class because I am working on getting my Associates's Degree in Graphic Design. This requires me to learn about the importance of business and good marketing. As a graphic designer, you have to understand what makes something marketable to the consumer. You have to learn to market yourself as a designer by creating an attractive portfolio and personal brand which is why I am very interested in learning about personal marketing. Aside from graphic design, I am very passionate about music and art of all mediums. I sing, act, draw, watercolor, design, knit, crochet and there is still so much more I want to learn to do. In high school, I involved myself in choir and theater allowing me to become a better singer and express myself through the performing arts. I have been drawing my whole life and there is nothing that inspires me more than consuming work from other artists. Whether that be in the form of watching animated films/tv series, following artists on social media or buying art from illustrators. Its always been important to me to have a way to express myself creatively.
